Text Wizard (Import)

The Text Wizard is used to import data from an external text file. The wizard is used to specify how data will be read into your application.

The Text Wizard incorporates the following steps:

• Declaring general file structure options

• Defining if and how data is separated (delimited) within the external file

• Defining if and how fixed width data files are to be handled

• Defining the format of the data contained within the file.
